January 16th 2016 Taylonn Murphy Sr and Corinna Fales were honored with
Harlem For Our Community Award. New York City Council Member Mark Levine, New York State Assembly Member Keith Wright , Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Former New York City Council Member Robert Jackson, and Nina Saxon from New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer's office were in attendance. The name of the event was
"Hands Across The Street". Great name for an event that connects neighboring developments in Harlem. Special thanks to Joan Levine and The Morningside Heights/West Harlem Sanitation Coalition for doing their part as elders/seniors to infuse a spirit of unity in the Harlem community. We are so grateful to our seniors and elders leading by example with their actions. Thanks again for doing your part as elders in leading by example.
