Saturday May 5th, 2018 is the 7th Annual Chicken Day ❤ Chicken would have been 25 years old so we’re doing it BIG like we always do. There will be a Marching Band, Drum Line, Cotton Candy & Face Painting for the Kids, Several Balloon Releases, Dance Competition from 4 dance groups, Surprise guest & much much more. 2018 TWO STEPS FORWARD – A DANCE TO HEAL THE SOUL
April 27th from 6pm-10pm we invite everyone to dance , have fun, and join the Tayshana Chicken Murphy Foundation as we honor unsung heroes in the community. These unique individuals have taken their personal experiences to a new level and are now helping rid our communities of senseless gun violence. We are going to have a short awards ceremony and then we are going to relax and enjoy ourselves. Food and Open Bar starts promptly 6:15 pm. Suggested donation $20. On the last day of Black History Month the Tayshana "Chicken" Murphy Foundation held the 1st session of the "Kids Behind The Camera" Visual Effects Class at Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts. We met an enthusiastic group of young people interested in learning about Digital Media Editing and Digital Photography.
